Why not just ask ChatGPT or Claude?
Chatbots are great, and we use them too. But they answer from a web search at the moment you ask, and they keep no history of what changed. PlanCaps checks each tool's official pricing page every day, keeps a dated changelog with a source link for every change, and emails you when something changes, so you don't have to remember to ask.
How often are prices checked?
Every day. Each tool page shows the date it was last checked, and every change goes into the changelog with its date.
Where does the data come from?
Only from each vendor's official pricing page and docs. Every tool, model list and deal links to its source. If a vendor doesn't state something, we mark it unverified or not listed instead of guessing.
Is PlanCaps free?
Yes. The site and the alert emails are free. Some links may be affiliate links, which never change the prices we show.
I found a wrong price. How do I report it?
Subscribe and reply to any PlanCaps email with the tool, the plan and a link to the vendor page. We recheck it against the official page and fix it in the next update.
